Be A Mate Workshops

These workshops are open to forest companies and contractors working in the industry. The package will be delivered in each region, Tairāwhiti, Wairoa and Hawke’s Bay FREE TO THE INDUSTRY thanks to the support of the Ministry for Primary Industries. We are offering these workshops in Tairāwhiti-Gisborne, Wairoa & Hawke’s Bay, running them back-to-back, i.e. 2 consecutive days to minimise travel time; with dates & venues to be confirmed, and subject to availability between November to December 2023. Please let us know if your company is interested in participating/hosting the workshops and if you have anyone who may be interested in training as a trainer.

Train The Trainer
We also have the opportunity for those who are interested in training as trainers to deliver the programmes into their company/region. Numbers will be limited for this training, and those who are interested will need to be interviewed for selection. There will be ongoing support for the people in these roles from A-OK. This programme is suitable for those who want to become trainers to deliver the suite of programmes across their company and contractors. A profile of a suitable trainer and the undertaking of training schedule is available on request.
