The duo has a very high level of environmental awareness within their operation. They’ve managed fastidious clearing along steep ridgelines, native forest boundaries, wet gullies and stream margins as well as managing stream crossings with no sediment run-off or impact.
Together over the last 10 years they have been instrumental in ensuring an excellent relationship with the owners of the property and other contractors.
As a metal cartage operation from a local quarry, they minimize impact and risk to the local community.
Being efficient and productive, they run modern high-quality equipment operated by well trained and motivated staff.
Their productivity has helped maximize forest returns and the landowners plan to reinvest these long-awaited earnings into the sustainable management of their whenua for the next generation.
