FISC and FICA are proud to partner to get our foresters home safe each night.

​

To achieve this, it is becoming more and more obvious it is not just best practices, but it is also the health & wellbeing of our people, the work environment and the external pressures of achieving productivity for their employers.

 

The conference will bring a number of key speakers with solutions and tools to reduce these challenges that are faced every day.

 

There will be opportunity for delegates to check out products and equipment at the Trade Display area both on the 13 & 14 March. Get together on the first night Wednesday 13 March and network before the conference with a Welcome Dinner and dinner speaker before we break into the conference and guest speakers the next day.

Airport Shuttle Information

Sudima Christchurch Airport hotel reception operates 24 hours for late arrivals and early departures. Complimentary airport shuttle is available on an on demand basis 24 hours daily.

Pick Up Point - The pick up point of the shuttle is at the end of the International Terminal underneath the flag poles next to the covered walkway.

To contact the hotel for airport shuttle pick up, please use the Freephone (Dial 27) at the Accommodation Directory Board adjacent to the Visitor Information Desk in the International Arrivals Lounge.

For transfers to the airport please liaise with reception on check in. Check in time is 2:00pm.  Check out time is 10:00am.

 

Hotel Info & Attractions

Our  complimentary Airport Shuttle service runs on demand 24 hours a day and complimentary onsite parking is also available for all conference delegates. 

As well as having our Acheron Restaurant & Bar, guests laundry facilities and a small Gym onsite, Spitfire Square is located right next to us with several café & restaurants, Countdown, chemist, Anytime Fitness and specialty stores.

The International Antarctic Centre is right next door and a bus stop is located 30 metres walk from the hotel for if your delegates want to travel to the city or around Christchurch to visit other attractions.  Our Concierge team can help point your delegates in the right direction with any local activities and attractions in the area.

Trade Stands Available

We have twenty places for suppliers and supporters of the industry to promote & showcase their products.

 

As safety and wellbeing are at the forefront of this conference, your business maybe ideal to get involved.  The area is in a dedicated marquee in the garden of the Hotel and will be the meeting area for morning & afternoon teas and lunch.

 

The open hours are Wed 13 March 1pm – 5pm and Thurs 14 March 8.30am – 3.30pm.

The stand includes:

  • 2.5m x 2m floor space

  • Trestle table & black cloth

  • 2 chairs

  • Logo & contact details in Conference Handbook

  • Happy hour drinks Wednesday 13 March 5.30pm – 6.30pm
