Dear Contractors,

Registrations have now opened for our first ever NZ Silviculture Workshop and Awards, and we’re encouraging you as an NZFM contractor to register yourself and all of your staff and crews! The closed one-day event will be held in the Turangi area on Friday 16 October 2020, and will include a training workshop followed by a silviculture competition in planting, thinning and pruning.

Why get involved?

This is a pilot initiative led by NZ Forest Managers and FICA, to raise the profile of silviculture and provide acknowledgement of the role you play in the value chain. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the silviculture contribution to industry and showcase the skills required to be part of the sector. We’re encouraging you to get all of your crews together and come along!
