Nominations for the Forest Industry Contractors Association Board elections open Monday 14 August at 9am, with an election to be held for new Executive Board Members and a Chair.
This year, Board Members Kevin Ihaka and Tony Gamble retire by rotation. Kevin Ihaka is standing for re-election. Ross Davis (Acting Chair), Sonya Elmiger and Tony Gamble will retire as Executive Board Members, while Robert Stubbs and Matthew Winmill have already resigned during their 2-year term.
The nomination period will run 14-28 August 2023
The election will be held using the first past the post system
FICA members are eligible to vote for (1) Executive Board Members and (2) Chair in the ballot. A person can be nominated for both Chair and Board Member at the same time. If elected as the Chair their votes for Board Member are cancelled. FICA Members will receive instructions for voting via email link.
Voting will open in September 2023
The new Executive Board will be officially welcomed at the FICA Annual General Meeting, to be held online (Zoom) and in Napier on 6 October 2023
